The tradition of sending greeting cards can be traced directlyto the early Chinese. The Chinese accustomed to send messages of goodwill on the occasion of Year which is new. Ancient Egypt have contributed to the start of the tradition of exchanging cards. The greetings of theirs on papyrus scrolls were conveyed by them. European exchanged handmade paper cards in the thirteenth century on occasion of Valentine Day. In Germany printed New Year greetings from woodcuts happened to be worn in the thirteenth century.
